Hi, Have gone through your finance and wealth initiative. Loved its user interphase and the content. As an investor/trader I could find most information related to stock market and various stocks. However, I would be regular visitor if i could build my own stock portfolio here (like moneycontrol or Google finance or Yahoo finance).

Citizens of India now have to opportunity to take advantage of the United States market.
You and your immediate family can now obtain green cards (Permanent US Residency) with an E5 visa by investing $500,000 into a Government approved Regional Center. It will give each of you the security of permanent US residence without repeated visa applications. Citizenship may be obtained after five years.
With a Green Card via an E5 investment visa you will have the flexibility to take any job, run any business, retire and live anywhere in the USA. You will have access to many of the benefits enjoyed by US citizens including property ownership or education.
A Green Card gives the holder the right to live and work anywhere in the United States. There are many visa categories and most require either a family or employment connection to the US. The E5 visa is unique in that it does not require an independent connection to the US in order to be eligible. The E5 visa creates the applicant’s relationship with the US by utilizing an investment opportunity.
There are three forms of the investment that is made with the E5 visa:
1. Invest $1,000,000 into a business and hire ten employees anywhere in the USA, or
2. Invest $500,000 and hire ten employees in an area where the unemployment rate exceeds the national average by 150% or the rural population is less than 20,000, or
3. Invest $500,000 into a Government designated Regional Centre and avoid direct employment.
The third form is the most straightforward and definite way to satisfy the US requirements in order to receive the permanent green card after the two-year period. The first two forms also lead to permanent green card status however they require an additional showing that at the end of the two year period ten qualified individuals have maintained jobs in the targeted employment area.
The EB5 visa is unusual in that it provides you with a green card at the outset. When you emigrate, you do so knowing that you and your immediate family can have Permanent Residency. The legislation gives you the freedom to choose to be a part of the day-to-day managerial control or just be involved in the monthly or annual policy formulation.
Your decision on one of the three forms of investment (see above) will dictate the degree of responsibility that the investment requires. You may live anywhere in the US, no matter where the investment is made, and are free to do whatever you wish, be it work, run another business or retire. You may apply for citizenship after five years.
The minimum period of the investment is approximately three years. Once you have emigrated, you may apply to have ‘conditions’ removed after 1 year and 9 months in the USA. Processing takes up to six months. ‘Conditions removal’ means that your investment is no longer tied to your visa. You are then free to sell your investment.
